About Me
Liubov Vaskevych – Founder of Your Mortgage Advisor Ltd
I am a UK-qualified, FCA-authorised mortgage advisor with over 12 years
of experience helping clients navigate the British property and mortgage
market.
I moved to the UK in 2010 under the Highly Skilled
Migrant Programme and built my career and business here from the ground
up. My background is in economics and entrepreneurship, and before
becoming a mortgage advisor, I personally went through the full journey
of buying, renovating, refinancing and investing in UK property as a
self-employed foreign national.
This personal experience shaped my professional philosophy: my role is to reduce stress, bring clarity, and deliver results — even in complex situations
My Approach
I specialise in:
I am directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which allows me to work independently and structure solutions for cases that often fall outside standard criteria.
I do not overwhelm clients with technical jargon. Instead, I explain the process in clear, simple language and take full responsibility for guiding each case from start to finish. My clients know that once I take on a case, I am fully committed to achieving the best possible outcome.
Experience That Goes Beyond Theory
Over the years, I have worked on mortgage cases ranging from modest first-time purchases to multi-million-pound property portfolios. I am particularly known for my ability to work with complex international backgrounds and to explain non-UK financial histories to British lenders in a way they can understand and accept.
I also invest in UK property myself, with a particular passion for historic and character properties. This means I understand property not only as a financial product, but as a long-term asset and a personal decision.
Why Clients Trust Me
Clients value my:
- persistence and problem-solving mindset
- calm, supportive communication style
- transparency and honesty
- willingness to be available when clients need reassurance
Many of my clients come through personal recommendations, and some professional relationships have grown into long-term friendships.
A Message to Clients
If you are considering buying property in the UK, the best first step is a conversation with a qualified mortgage advisor — not online “gurus” or generic advice.
Ask questions. Explore your options.
A good mortgage advisor can often see possibilities you may not even realise exist.
